Taking care of your Brunette hair

If you got a traditional hand painted balayage (did you have plastic on your head? Yes? OK you definitely got the hand painted balayage) than you’re in the right place :)

For rich tones, you need a solid warm background- so your hair may get brassy faster than your blonder friends. Just use the purple shampoo from Fanola (or blue shampoo in any other brand) to help counteract the unwanted tones when it gets bad…AND ONLY WHEN IT GETS BAD. It will dry your hair out. When you do use it be sure to deep condition after or do a k18 treatment.

To be honest, you might just want to come in to really bring back the depth and richness if it’s been around 12 weeks; it’s just time and color depositing shampoos can only work so well.

Remember that proper hair care leads to tone longevity. So invest in salon quality shampoos+conditioners and don’t over wash! Deep condition too. Your color was an investment-don’t let it go to waste!
